Race across the warm waters of Pamlico Sound

Enjoy the thrill of racing across the warm  waters of the Pamlico Sound. We have four Yamaha 110hp wave runners. Although they are 3 seaters, we only allow 2 adults or 1 adult and 2 small children on them for both your comfort and safety. We suggest a maximum weight of 350 pounds. Rentals can be purchased by the unit for half hour and full hour increments. All riders are required to attend an instructional lesson and a safety briefing before taking off. You must be 16 years of age to drive. This a North Carolina state law. Riders may be any age and life vests are mandatory for all. We recommend reservations and ask you to come to our desk at least 20 minutes early to sign release forms. This is a great way to cool off on a hot sultry summer day or just take a break from the beach.


What is like to operate a wave runner?



Requirements:
All participants must sign a release /assumption of risk form. Minors need a parent or guardian signature.

Renters are responsible for any or all damages, repairs, and labor costs. Wave runners are inspected before and after each rental

Rentals require a major credit card and photo ID for a deposit.

What is the cost to rent a wave runner?
Hourly rate is $100.00   Coupons in the Sunny Day Guide are available for $5 off on Mondays and Saturday mornings.

 Half hour rate is $65.00

Is there an additional charge for more than 1 rider?
We allow up to three people on one wave runner within the 350 pound maximum weight limit.  Additional riders are $20 per person per unit.

Can we switch drivers and riders during our time slot?
Yes. We will instruct you how to accomplish this while in the water, or you can also switch with others waiting at the dock and take turns.

Can I drive my wave runner where ever I want?
No. We are near a heavily traveled channel and have a boundary box for your riding pleasure and safety.
